The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has issued the following statement:
The Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) strongly condemns the attack by Hindu chauvinist elements on the photographic exhibition organised by Sahmat on August 24, 2008 in New Delhi in protest against the non-inclusion of M.F. Hussain’s paintings at the India Art Summit.
The Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) demands that the culprits involved be brought to book.
