The decision of the UPA government not to proceed with the disinvestment of shares in Neyveli Lignite Corporation and Nalco is welcome. We congratulate the employees of the two public sector undertakings for their firm struggle against the disinvestment We appreciate the stand taken by the Tamilnadu Chief Minister Thiru M. Karunanidhi in defence of the public sector.
