Press Statement

The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has issued the following statement:

                                                          Railway Minister Must Quit

Even 72 hours after the ghastly and tragic accident of the Howrah-Delhi Rajdhani Express, passengers continue to be trapped in the ill-fated bogies. Instead of mounting relief operations on a war effort, the Railway Minister has reportedly been engaged in trying to establish sabotage as the cause of the accident. Some reports suggest that instructions had been given to the railway authorities to concentrate on such efforts rather than mounting urgent rescue and relief operations.

Such a gross inhuman attitude is despicable. The Railway Minister must immediately quit, amongst other things, for displaying such a callous attitude.
