Subject: Complaint on RSS-BJP meeting with National Security Advisor
               Ajit Doval in Delhi.

Sir,
I am attaching herewith one news-clippings under caption “Tin Rajyer Nirbachan Niye Baithake BJP-RSS Netara” of “Daily Desher Katha”, an Agartala based daily newspaper, dated 15th January, 2018 and a PTI news item, on 14th January, 2018. The news item quoting PTI, reports that on 14th January, 2018, the central BJP leaders including Mr. Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister, Mr. Ram Madhav, in charge of looking over party’s affairs in North East and  senior RSS leader Krishna Gopal had met in a meeting at the residence of the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and, according to the report, Mr. Ajit Doval, National Security Advisor was also present in that meeting.

The report says, the meeting was convened purely on political purpose, i.e. to evolve electoral strategy of the BJP in the forthcoming Assembly elections in Tripura, Meghalaya and Nagaland. Presence of any person holding very important position like that of National Security Advisor is not only undesirable and objectionable, it is a glaring instance of  blatant misuse of administration by the ruling party at the centre for garnering political mileage in the elections. Thus such misuse of administration is nothing but real threat to the democratic system of the country.

You being an authority to oversee that no political party, either incumbent or in opposition may not get any undue electoral opportunity  by use of administration,  may I request you kindly to order an appropriate authority for investigation into the matter and take  stern legal measures in the event it is found fact in the investigation.

     Thanking You,
Yours sincerely,

Sd/-
