CPI(M) Punjab organised a public meeting on March 23 in Khatkar Kalan, native village of Bhagat Singh to observe martyrdom day of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru.

CPI(M) Polit Bureau member Prakash Karat attended the 'Mukhamukham' (face to face) programme organised by Kannur Press Club on 22 March 2019. He said that Five years of Modi government has created records in the betrayal of people and in administrative failure in all sectors.

The ICC is reconstituted after the Party Congress of CPI(M) every three years. The 22nd Congress of the CPI(M) concluded in April 2018.  Subsequently, the ICC was reconstituted.

A CPI(M) delegation comprising Polit Bureau member Brinda Karat, Jharkhand State Secretary G.K.Bakshi and Secretariat members Prakash Biplav and a Praful Linda met the Jharkhand Governor over increased hunger and starvation deaths in the State and handed over a memorandum.
