Salute the Achievements of the Left Democratic Front Government in Kerala
The 23rd Congress of the CPI(M) salutes the historic and path-breaking achievements of the Left Democratic Front Government led by the CPI(M), which has been in office Kerala since 2016. It salutes the Kerala State Committee of the CPI(M) for the political guidance it has given the Government, and the people of Kerala for their support to, and participation in, the initiatives and successes of the Government.

AGAINST GROWING ATTACKS ON WOMEN
The 23rd Congress of the CPI(M) expresses great anguish at the growing attacks on women in our country. The frightening regularity with which women and young girls are subjected to violence and abuse is alarming. Gang-rape, abduction, physical and mental abuse, torture of various kinds, threats of killing and rape are not isolated incidents. Instead they are a part of the larger systemic problem.

On the Massive Crisis of Unemployment

The extent of unemployment in India has risen sharply, both in absolute numbers and as a share of the labour force, in these four years since the 22nd Party Congress.
The official data on unemployment are a gross underestimation. The distress is especially severe in view of the absence of any meaningful social security provisions for the overwhelming majority of the population.
Third Day of 23rd CPI(M) Party Congress: Discussions Continue
The discussion on the Draft Political Resolution continued in the morning session of the third day of the 23rd Congress of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) being held at Kannur, Kerala.
In the afternoon session of April 7, 2022, 18 delegates participated. Today, 17 delegates participated in the discussion.
