On the resolutions adopted

The discussion on the Draft Review Report on the Political Tactical Line was concluded in the evening session of April 15. Altogether 42 delegates participated in the discussion. Today morning (April 16), the General Secretary replied to the discussions. 229 amendments had been moved by the delegates to the report. Of these 11 amendments were accepted. The Review Report was adopted by the Congress.
Constitution Amendments
An amendment to the Constitution was proposed and adopted by the Congress. By this amendment the annual membership fee will be raised from Rs. 2 to Rs. 5 per member.
The Congress adopted the following resolutions:
1.   On Issues of Education
2.   Against the Present Labour Reforms
3.   Solidarity with the People of West Bengal
4.   Ensure Implementation of Recommendations for Minority Development Programmes
5.   For SC/ST Reservation in the Private Sector and for a Law for SCCP & TSP Funds
