Comrade Pinarayi Vijayan, member of the Polit Bureau and Secretary of the Kerala State Committee of the CPI(M) has been discharged from the SNC-Lavalin case by the CBI Special Court at Thiruvananthapuram.
This verdict exonerating Pinarayi Vijayan from the charges is welcome. It is a vindication of the stand taken by the CPI(M) that these charges are baseless and it was a politically motivated case.
