P.B. Communique

The Polit Bureau discussed the draft report to be presented to the Party Plenum on Organization.  This draft will now be subjected for discussion in the Party Central Committee meeting scheduled to meet in Delhi from November 13 to 16.  The Plenum will be held in Kolkata from December 27 to 31, 2015.  

Punish 'Moral Policing'

The CPI(M) condemns the raid conducted by Delhi Police at the Kerala House on the pretext of investigating whether beef was being served in the canteen.  Everybody is aware that buffalo meat is allowed legally to be sold in Delhi and any preparation of such meat is not an illegality.

Mainpuri Attack: Take Firm Action

The violence in Mainpuri in Uttar Pradesh once again highlights how the issue of cow slaughter is being utilized to target the minority community.  A mob attacked four men who were accused of killing a cow, two of whom are injured and in a critical condition.  Some shops belonging to Muslims were set on fire.  The Polit Bureau condemns these attacks.
