The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) met at New Delhi on November 13-14, 2021.
Report Adopted by the Polit Bureau at its Meeting held on June 2, 2020
This Modi-II government has been mounting multiple attacks on the Constitutional order of the Indian Republic. Apart from the manner in which Jammu & Kashmir was deprived of its statehood, the consequent implications constitute a serious attack on India’s Constitutional guarante
The Union Home Minister, Amit Shah’s announcement that Hindi should be treated as the national language runs contrary to the spirit of the Indian Constitution and our country’s linguistic diversity. All languages listed in the Eight Schedule of the Constitution are national languages and must be treated equally. Any attempt to impose any one language will lead to the disruption of our country’s unity and integrity.
His statement has dangerous implications for the future as it means that any Supreme Court judgement which does not suit the interests of the BJP and RSS will be defied and a Government seeking to implement it will be attacked by them. In the history of independent India this is an unprecedented situation.
Report on Political Developments
(Adopted at the Central Committee Meeting held on
December 15-16, 2018 at New Delhi)
Proof of this nefarious intent has now come to light with the exposure of a circular issued on November 14, 2018 by the Kannur District Committee of the BJP. The circular calls for the sending of 200 trained volunteers from four areas of the district to the Sabarimala temple on December 13. The circular has also instructed these volunteers to carry necessary “materials” in their handbags.
The Central Committee discussed the draft Political-Organisational Report presented by the Polit Bureau. This will now be presented to the 22nd Congress to be held at Hyderabad from April 18 to 22, 2018.
