The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) met in New Delhi on July 4 and 5, 2009. It has issued the following statement:
The Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) discussed the organisational issues related to the Kerala state unit of the Party. The Polit Bureau decided to convene a meeting of the Central Committee on July 11-12, 2009 to consider the proposals of the Polit Bureau regarding the Party affairs in Kerala.
