Plenum Concludes
With the unanimous adoption of the Report on Organisation and the Resolution on Organisation, the Plenum on Organisation came to a successful conclusion today.
Commemorate October Revolution
This Plenum on Organisation reiterates with emphasis our 21st Congress resolution on the centenary of the Russian revolution that called for 'celebrations to commemorate the centenary year in all-round way', beginning November 7, 2016 by organising events 'in the political, ideological, and cultural spheres', and 'to conduct a campaign to propagate socialism'.
Resolution on Organisation Introduced
The second day of the CPI(M)’s Plenum on Organisation began at the Promode Dasgupta Bhawan today morning at 11.00 a.m. with the introduction of the “Draft Resolution on Organisation” by General Secretary Sitaram Yechury.
Plenum Preparations
The details of the Organisational Plenum have been finalized. Plenum will be held from December 27 to 31, 2015 at Kolkata. It will be attended by 436 delegates. There will be a Report on Party Organization and a Resolution which will be adopted at the Plenum.
Protest Kolkata Lathichage
The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) condemns the brutal lathicharge on peaceful protesters in Kolkata on October 1. The Kolkata Left Front had organized a march to the Kolkata Police Headquarters at Lalbazar protesting against the deteriorating law and order in the city, police atrocities against Left Front workers and the hooliganism indulged in by the Trinamul Congress.
