Condemn the brutal murder of CPI(M) activist by RSS criminals in Kerala! Red Salute to martyr Comrade Preman!The attack on Com. Preman (45), a worker by profession and a CPI(M) activist, occurred at Chittaaripparambu in Kannur on Wednesday night. The armed gang of RSS-BJP goons came in a Santro car and two bikes. They threw bombs to scare people away and then hacked Com. Preman down. Both his legs were almost severed below the knees, and he was admitted to the Thalassery Cooperative Hospital in critical condition. Com. Preman passed away on Thursday morning.
Com. E P Jayarajan, Central Committee member of the CPI(M), Com. P Jayarajan, District Secretary, and Com. M V Jayarajan, State Committee member reached the hospital to pay respects to the martyred comrade.
Preman was the main support for his family and was someone who regularly helped people out. His death shall not go in vain, and we will carry forward the fight to establish a society free of the scourges of communalism and oppression in all their forms.
The left and democratic forces are the main stumbling block for the RSS-BJP in spreading their venomous influence in Kerala, and therefore it is no wonder the Hindutva forces resort to terror in order to try and physically eliminate the organised Left. The RSS leaders of the district had made open threats against the CPI(M) in a press conference in Kannur on Wednesday. On the same day, the Ancharakandy Area Committee Office of the CPI(M) had been destroyed in a bomb attack. But such terrorist attacks will not deter the courageous struggle of the working people against communal-fascism. Our united fight will defeat the Hindutva forces. We shall fight, we shall win!
