Comrade M. M. Lawrence

The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has issued the following statement:

Comrade M. M. Lawrence

The Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) expresses its deep grief at the passing away of Comrade M. M. Lawrence, veteran leader of the Party and former member of the Central Committee.

Comrade Lawrence served the Party with distinction in several positions. He was the Secretary of the Ernakulam district committee, member of the State Committee and State Secretariat in Kerala for a long time. He was a well-known trade union leader. He also served as LDF Convenor.

The Polit Bureau conveys its heartfelt condolences to all his family members.
