Comrade Sitaram Yechury rallied a large crowd in support of Dindigul Lok Sabha candidate, Comrade R Sachithanandam. He criticized the Modi-led BJP government for allegedly targeting opposition leaders using central agencies under the pretext of fighting corruption, while secretly aiming to recruit them into the BJP. Yechury accused the Prime Minister of making frequent visits to Tamil Nadu but failing to fulfill the state’s demands for flood relief and increased funds for Tamil development.
